Waste Not Quilt

Waste Not Quilt is one of my earliest paintings. Quilts are treasured pieces of the past with memories attached to the scraps. I have met black families at my gallery that have brought their family quilts to show me. Every reunion the quilt is updated and another family member taked it home & brings it back to the next reunion. A most lovely way to record a families births, deaths and accomplishments.
